In June, Julie and Diana ventured to a trade fair for textile handicrafts in Chicago. Expectations and excitement ran high for this special fair because it usually only takes place in Cologne, Germany! It is eagerly looked forward to by Europeans and Americans could only dream about going.

The Poppy Poncho, currently on display, is ideal for late-summer knitting. It has a soothing six-row pattern that repeats throughout the poncho. Fingering weight yarn is used, making it a lightweight project. By the time it’s finished, the weather should be perfect for it!
