It’s time to tell you about My Sister Knits’ classes for May and June! We know that many of you are planning your summer schedules and we want to give you plenty of notice. If you want to learn something new, or perhaps brush up on a specific skill (I’m thinking Brioche because I’ve taken 5 Brioche classes!), then take a look at this list of classes. They’re listed in chronological order and the links to sign up are on the class dates.

My Sister Knits always has a variety of classes each month; essential skills, fun things to create, and some clinics to learn techniques.

At the beginning of each year I like to ponder what I want to learn during the next 12 months. What do I love about knitting in terms of techniques? What do I want to improve? What type of projects might I want to make?

First there was Patty Lyons’ book Knitting Bag of Tricks, a treasure in and of itself. Then came along The Official Workbook to accompany it! In it are seven lessons that include multiple exercises and thought-provoking questions to give us a better understanding of our own knitting.
