It’s for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters. You’ll learn many skills including creating a round, flat circle, picking up stitches, cables, and brioche in the round! The required skills are knitting, purling, and knitting the round. This is an excellent class to add to your knitting tool box!

Granny Squares; Saturdays 6/1 & 8 from 1-3

If you have some beginning crochet experience, you’re ready for this class! You need to be able to chain, single crochet, and double crochet. You’ll learn 4-6 crochet square patterns, how to begin, end, and join squares and a whole new world will open up for you!

Child’s Flax Sweater; Tuesdays 6/11, 18 & 25 from 6-7:30

You’ll add corrugated ribbing, kfb (knit front and back), K2tog (knit two together), ssk (slip, slip, knit), and binding off to your repertoire. Corrugated ribbing adds a special touch to the bottom and cuffs of this sweater!

Basic Shorty Sock-No Pattern; Saturdays 6/15, 22, & 29 from 2-4

Here’s another class for adventurous beginners! You need to know how to knit and purl; knowing how to join in the round is helpful. When you finish these, you’ll not only know how to make socks but how to make them to fit your foot! Besides learning all about socks, you’ll learn the German Twisted Cast On, ssk (slip, slip knit), K2tog (knit two together) and how to graft the toes together.

Brioche Hat; Saturdays 6/22 & 29 from 11-1

If you’ve toyed with the idea of learning brioche, this is your chance! This hat, designed by Jonatan Tollow, will develop your brioche skills, including how to decrease. You only need to know how to knit and purl in the round and have a confident, positive mindset!
