Today, My Sister Knits is giving you a feast for your eyes! Two fun hats have come to our attention!

Both of them use garter stitch; one uses one strand of fingering weight yarn, the other uses two strands of fingering weight yarn held together.

My Sister Knits has our very own fingering weight cowl pattern for your knitting pleasure!  Actually, it’s Diana’s brainchild so we have named it Diana’s Cowl!

Any yarn from The Fibre Co. is amazing to knit with. When you pick up a skein and squish it, you immediately want some for yourself!

My Sister Knits has a new sample for you to enjoy! Just in this week, a darling shawlette called Tiny Tassels is gracing the shop. Last seen on the wall by the community table, who knows where it will travel to in the shop?

As I sit down to write this, it’s blowing a gale outside! The leaves have been so pretty this year but most of them are on the ground now. The daytime temps are dropping fast, autumn is truly here, and I’m thinking of which cozy shawl I want to knit!

My Sister Knits is hosting a trunk show of Trilogy Yarns! Some trunk shows are samples of items knit with a certain yarn. Others have unique yarn that can be purchased. This is the latter kind! The yarn we have will be available to snap up for your own until it’s time to send it all back.

A grand discovery was made one night around the table at Knit Night! Knitters were searching on Ravelry and found Jessie Mae Martinson’s Sheer V Sweater design. One thing led to another and now we have a sample in the shop!

Leftover City cowl, designed by Kacey Herlihy, is so much fun to make! It’s the perfect accessory to keep your neck warm as we transition into spring.
