My Sister Kits just received a shipment of Kelbourne Woolens DK weight Scout! Talk about a squishy yarn!

Scout is from the fleece of Highland sheep in the Peruvian highlands, a cross between Merino and Corriedale. The Corriedale adds strength and durability to the soft Merino.

Wild Mountain Thyme is Thea Colman’s (aka Baby Cocktails) latest design, released this week! It just so happens that we have a sample that’s been waiting in the wings until the pattern was published. It’s now on display!

Wing and a Prayer Farm is a glorious, magical place! When driving down the lane you first see the imposing red and white barn and around it are the animals: sheep, alpacas, angora goats, miniature donkeys, horses, chickens, ducks, and turkeys.

We would like to introduce you to Chicken Coop Dyeworks yarn! New at My Sister Knits this week, you will find it featured on our renovated wall to the left as you enter the shop! We are busily creating samples of this fun yarn so you can see and feel it knit into a project.

We have a sample in the shop that is truly elegant in its simplicity and sophistication!  It's the Princeton Capelet designed by Sylvia Hager.  Sylvia designed it specifically for Blue Sky Fibers Eco-Cashmere.  This little gem is perfect for the warmer spring weather that will be here before we know it!
