Not One But Two Trunk Shows!
My Sister Knits has not one but two trunk shows for your shopping pleasure!
The first one I want to tell you about is JEMS Luxe Fibers. Judy and Emily from Mississippi (JEMS) are both the owners of Agape Knits in Vicksburg, MS and the force behind JEMS Luxe Fibers. On Friday and Saturday, August 16th and 17th, Judy and Emily will bring their trunk show to My Sister Knits!

At 10:00 both mornings we will have a Meet and Greet where we’ll hear about the inspiration behind their yarn, how they started, and their dye process. Then you’ll get to explore all of their yarns. We’re especially looking forward to seeing their Yak/Silk/SW Merino blend in both fingering and DK weights, their 50/50 wool and cotton blend, and their worsted with CashStyle Nylon. CashStyle Nylon adds cashmere type softness and strength to the wool.
Look at how they all go together!
In addition to yarn, they’re bringing samples! They have great examples of projects for mini skeins! I don’t know about you but I always appreciate ideas of how to use them. They have minis in all weights, from fingering to bulky!
JEMS Luxe Fibers’ color sets are based on the gods, goddesses, and monsters of Greek mythology and we are eager to see them! Their colors are rich, deeply saturated and come in tonals, speckled, and variegated.
If you’d like a sweater quantity and there are, say, only two skeins of that yarn, it’s easy to order! You can pay for the quantity you want at My Sister Knits and Janet and Emily will dye your yarn and send it to your house with no shipping charge!
Judy and Emily will be at the shop both Friday and Saturday so be sure to come in, meet them, and hopefully sit down and knit for a bit after you’ve perused their yarn. We’re sure that some of it will be calling to you!

The next trunk show you need to know about is Sweet Tea Yarns by MollyKlein Design. Molly is a mom from Indiana who loves color! She sews project bags and dyes yarn, turning her love for fiber arts into a full time job.

We have her trunk show in the shop now. There is a profusion of her mini skein sets and one of them is inspired by Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour! There are ten 90 yard skeins in a set. Besides the Eras Tour set, there are sets consisting of neon bright or subtle shades, something for everyone!
fingering weight skeins
You’re going to want to come into the shop and see her gorgeous colors. Besides mini skein sets, we have single skeins of fingering weight yarn and sock sets.
These trunk show yarns won’t be around forever so be sure to come in and see these unique yarns while they’re here!
