Let’s have some fun! I’ve been around My Sister Knits in the fall for years and have seen the Christmas stockings that people knit. I’ve admired them but have never wanted to knit one myself. I’ve had several hesitations about making them: I don’t knit socks, they’d take too much time while I was finishing other gifts, I was too busy otherwise, you get the picture!

“What is an MKAL?” you may be asking yourself! Why, it’s a Mystery Knit A Long! The mystery is that you have no idea what you’re making other than a category. You’ll know if it’s a cowl or a shawl but not much more than that. You get a clue, usually once a week, with directions for each section of your project which always causes great excitement.
