Mini Hank Bundles with Patterns!
Blue Sky Fibers mini bundles are at My Sister Knits! These bundles are such a fun way to add color to your projects!
Each bundle consists of three 12-yard hanks each of seven colors for a total of 21 mini hanks. They come in three sets of tones: warm, cool, and neutral. Of course they pair beautifully with full skeins of Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok!

The Black Mountain Cowl, designed by Laura Tabbut
This moebius cowl was specifically designed to use a Blue Sky Fibers mini hank bundle! Published in May 2020, Laura created this pattern while in quarantine for Covid-19. She had to design and knit with the yarn that she had immediately available to her. Her background in Fine Arts is clearly at work in this well executed design.
Cool Tones Bundle
One look at how this pattern is laid out and you’ll wish all patterns were like this! She includes both written and charted directions and clearly describes all of the details. We think that once you start knitting this you’d better have a good chunk of knitting time because you’re not going to want to set it down! We have a sample at the shop for you to examine.
Taniko Colorwork Cowls, designed by Francoise Danoy
This is actually five cowls in one! The knitter gets to choose which stitch motif to use! Francoise used patterns that are based off of the main designs in Maori (native people of New Zealand) weaving. Each of the five motifs has a specific meaning which is explained in the pattern.
Neutral Tones Bundle
Francoise refers to knitters as Fiber Muses. She believes that knitting is “..a medium to carry out our life’s purpose. It is a powerful medium of bringing more joy, healing creativity, and connection to our lives”. Her life is dedicated to the furtherance of knitting from guiding and coaching new designers to designing patterns with deep meanings.
The mini bundles work well with these cowls because you repeat the patterns until one hank is used up and then go on to the next one!
