Round Top Bandana(September)

The Round Top Bandana has been a hit with our knitters at MSK. The pattern uses the “dip” stitch and becomes addictive as your scarf grows. You can knit a small or larger size - our shop samples are all the larger size. Color combinations are abundant!

Students should have prior knitting experience - know how to cast on; knit and purl. Class will cast on together during the first session and get the rhythm of changing colors and increasing. The second class will be decreasing and finishing off your project.

Supplies -

Fingering weight or sport weight yarn - 2 contrasting colors; 150 yds each. Our samples vary - but we have used Knitting for Olive Fingering paired with their KFO Silk Mohair. (so 4 balls total)

US 5 or 6 - depending on how you like the fabric - larger needles may give more drape. 24” circular is fine.

Removeable stitch marker; Darning needle for weaving in ends.

Class Materials/Preparation
Class materials may be purchased for 10% discount before the day of the first class – some restrictions may apply. Project patterns are also available at a 10% discount; no charge for free patterns. Please plan ahead so that we are sure to have what you need and ready for you at your first class!

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of your class so the teacher may begin promptly.

Class Size
Classes are usually limited to 4 adults – 16 years* and above. Class size is often smaller for beginning level classes and other classes where more one-on-one attention is necessary. We may accommodate larger numbers for lecture style classes and workshops by visiting teachers. * Under 16 years of age needs instructor approval

Parents and kids may wish to schedule a private lesson by calling the store.

Homework
Some classes have homework which needs to be completed prior to the first class. Please check the class description page for homework required. It is also important that you complete your homework between meetings so classes can progress as scheduled.

Payment
Payment is required at time of registration. We cannot reserve seats for unpaid students. You may sign up online using credit card/Paypal; or someone may assist you signing up in the shop. If the class is full – please call to be put on a wait list.

Missed Classes
We are unable to offer free make-up sessions for missed classes or for cancellations. Class fees are not transferrable to later classes.

MSK Cancellation

We may cancel classes with only one student registered 48 hours prior to first class; and store credit or refund will be given.
