My Sister Knits has a new book that we want everyone to know about! A customer brought it in, showed it to Julie, and she ordered some. The other day, when I was in the shop, I sat down and took some time to browse through it. I was more enthusiastic about it with every turn of the page! 

We are just loving the continuing trend of small scarves that perfectly go around your neck! There are so many of these designs and we’ve found another one that was just published in September. This one is called the Riptide Scarfette and was designed by Jennifer Shiels Toland.

The purpose of the Hot August Knits Yarn Crawl is to get knitters up and down Hwy 287 acquainted with the yarn shops in our area. They each have a different personality and stock items unique to each shop. ‘Crawlers’ as they are fondly called, have an opportunity to support local yarn shops and find out what’s available close by.
