Big news

Remarkable things happen on Tuesday nights at the shop.  At our Community Knit Night craft table friends are made, ideas are shared, and last week a new class was born!Haven Leavitt of Knit Alone Together fame joined the group and brought in her newest creation: the Newsprint Cowl.  She designed this gorgeous brioche stitch infinity scarf; and better yet, she wants to help us all master the brioche stitch! © Haven LeavittHer pattern is a FREE Ravelry download and, can be knit up with two colors of any yarn from DK weight to Aran depending on how warm and dense a cowl you’d like to have.  We have all kinds of beautiful yarn options in the shop for you to choose from. She will be teaching a two session Brioche Class on Wednesday evenings March 26th and April 2nd.  She will walk us through her pattern, getting us started on our own cowls.  We'll then have a week to get the hang of the stitches on our own at home.  During the second meeting she will work on trouble shooting any problems that may have arisen, and guide us through fixing common brioche mistakes. This class is $70 (excluding yarn and supplies) and will fill quickly with just 6 spots.  If you have been eager to learn Brioche, this is a wonderful opportunity that you won’t want to miss.  Give us a call at the shop at 970-407-1461 to reserve your spot today.
