As promised (part one)

We assured our newsletter subscribers that we would share photos of the Erika Knight Trunk Show that has filled the shop with beautiful knits this month. One of our favorites is Fourrure.  It is a faux furry cowl that is irresistibly fun.  Many of our visitors can't help but try it on, and Kimberly fell under it's spell as well.  Doesn't she look darling? fourrure 01This cowl designed by Antonia Shankland is a great pattern for new knitters.  It can be managed with a working knowledge of the knit and purl stitches.  All of the shaping is done by switching needle sizes from a US 11 up to a US 17.  The pattern calls for  2 skeins of the Fur Wool $25.00 and 1 skein of the Maxi Wool at $21.50. erika knight 01Also knit up with Erika Knight's Fur Wool is this tiny vest that is part of the $9 pattern pamphlet Knit for Baby.  The pamphlet includes a handful of terrific patterns for your little one that are a perfect balance of classic and playful, such as the sweater you also see in the photo.Erika's Welly Toppers can be made with one skein of Fur wool and one skein of Lambspride Worsted ($10.15) held double for the inside.  The little hat can be created with one skein each of two colors of the British Blue Wool at $8 a skein.

We have more photos to share with you, so check back in later this week to see the rest of the show!
