Another Autumn Wrap

You know that we love Isager Strik Alpaca 2 for lightweight Autumn knits.  We mentioned it just last week as the perfect choice for the Churchmouse Yarns & Teas new Ombre Infinity Scarf project.This yarn’s 50/50 blend of merino and alpaca make it light, soft, and warm.  It is a wonderful fingering weight yarn that comes in a stunning spectrum of beautiful colors.  This week we want to bring to your attention a breathtaking pattern that highlights a gorgeous palette of 9 colors that we imagine you’ll love as much as we do. This is the Stole designed by Theresa Gaffey featured in the pages of Wearwithall.  Helen knit it up during this summer’s travels and found that the project made for perfect car knitting.  We feel as though you could knit it up as you head out for your holiday travels this year; and then treasure it as the perfect traveling wrap for trips in the future.It is so lightweight that it can pack up to a tiny bundle, and yet is large and warm enough to make you comfortable in the draftiest airport lounge or plane.We have created a limited quantity of kits that include the book and 9 skeins of beautiful yarn.
