Julie has been on the hunt again and My Sister Knits now has products from two companies that you can only find at our shop, nowhere else in the United States! 

Lowland Originals project bags

Renee Luitjes, creator of Lowland Originals, sent Julie 24 of her handcrafted 8.5” x 11.25” project bags. We are her first wholesale account! Renee lives just outside of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.  She says that her designs begin in her head and her hands make them from her heart. 

Each bag is one-of-a-kind!  They are pieced together with a multitude of fabrics that evoke different feelings and have a sturdy drawstring closure that pulls from both ends of the bag.  Perfect for grab and go projects that fit inside a larger purse, tote, or backpack!

Renee feels that, in a distant way, she becomes part of the lives of the people who purchase her creations and this pleases her immensely.

Treat yourself to a luxurious leather item from this Danish company founded in 2016!  Muud living hand made products have a sophisticated, timeless, and functional appeal just as we’d expect from a Scandinavian design mindset!  Confidently choose one that calls to you from across the shop, knowing that it will last and it will get more beautiful with age!

The natural leather used in their knitting accessories has no finishing treatment and is so soft and supple!

The classic cylindrical shape of the Saturn and Saturn XL bags is a structured alternative to a tote bag.  

The Stockholm is a leather case for your interchangeable needles that has a large zippered compartment for extras such as scissors, stitch markers, and your Susan Bates Handi Tool which most of us are never without! 

We absolutely cannot wait to see the Lofoten knitting bags, named after islands in Norway, when they come in!  Look for them towards the end of March.
