muud Leather Trunk Show!

My Sister Knits has long been a fan of muud leather knitting bags and accessories. We have a trunk show of these beauties arriving this week!

Edy darning and sewing needle organizer

muud is a Danish company well known for their premium leather goods. The leather comes from buffalo hides in India and is considered a by-product of the meat processing industry. The buffalo comes from local farmers who operate on a small scale. They roam free in their native surroundings and eat natural vegetation from birth.

muud collaborates only with manufacturing partners approved by the Leather Working Group. The LWG is involved with regulating and monitoring the leather industry, particularly the treatment of animals and environmental sustainability.

Helsinki notions case

The company places equal importance on the working conditions in the manufacturing facilities used. These adhere to the approved Corporate Social Responsibility conditions which cover standards such as building conditions, adequate pay, ethical labor policies, and such.

When you purchase a muud piece, you can be assured that it came from a trusted manufacturer.

Bina XL shopper bag

Every piece is carefully made by hand and is created to last a lifetime.

You’ll be able to purchase items in the trunk show and there is a huge variety of shapes, sizes, and purposes! You can gift yourself something small such as a leather scissors holder, a container for small accessories, or a cute measuring tape holder. Or you can go bigger with a cross-body bag, needle cases, or a mini version of the tall round bag you may have seen at the shop. Last, you can go all out with large project bags, a leather backpack, or tote.

There’s something for everyone in this trunk show! When you feel the suppleness of this leather and knowing that each item is handmade, you’re going to want a piece of it for your very own!

The trunk show will be at My Sister Knits for about two weeks. We encourage you to come in early!

Happy knitting,
