Knitting for my sister, Diana, and me started out as a hobby. It has quickly become a passion and now, a business. I'm having so much fun encouraging my friends, teaching children, and offering the latest yarns and accessories. Whether you're new to knitting, rekindling a hobby from the past, or willing to teach me a few things.

Fixing Mistakes
When: June 19th (Wednesday) from 5:30 – 7:30pm
Cost: $25.00
Let’s all admit it, there are times when knitting can become frustrating because of a dropped stitch or constant unraveling. Let Kate help by teaching you how to get over the inevitable speed bumps. In this class, students will learn basic fixes like making vertical and horizontal corrections; unraveling, recognizing and correcting twisted and skipped stitches, and common causes for too many or too few stitches. Before class, students will be asked to make a swatch- cast on 20 stitches with worsted weight yarn. Knit 4 rows in garter and then knit in stockinette for 3-4”. Don’t bind off. Other needed supplies include a crochet hook and any knitting needle size 5 or smaller. Class limit: 6
