Shibui/Camp Color Trunk Show!

We would like to bring your attention to our Shibui/Camp Color trunk show! Camp Color is Shibui’s sister company with entirely different colors.

Camp Color is only produced in a fingering weight. Like Shibui yarns, it is soft and luscious. Unlike Shibui yarns, it is superwash so it’s great for those items you want to be able to toss in the machine, albeit on a delicate cycle!

Camp Color has five Color Collections from subdued to almost neon, reminding us of a kaleidoscope!

The colors we have in our photos today are from two collections:  Beware the Kraken and Stirred, Not Shaken. We have colors from other collections for your consideration on the Sock Wall at the top of the stairs and in the basket right next to it.

The items in this trunk show are a little unusual and so fun; look for fringe and bobbles and think young at heart!

If it has been packed up and sent onward to its next LYS (Local Yarn Shop), we can show you our shop samples and the patterns that were in the trunk show.

Upcoming Events/Classes

Homemade pom poms and tassels take gift wrapping to the next level! Take two hours out of your day next Saturday to learn how to make them. Sign up here

January Get Back to Knitting class

We continually tweak this four-session class to make each one a better experience than the last. This time we’re using luxurious, light-as-a-feather Woolfolk Far for our hat. This yarn glides along your needles like butter and you’ll absolutely love wearing it! We’ve also chosen a different pattern to make finishing your hat a breeze.

This is an intentionally small class to allow for ample one-to-one attention. What a great start to the new year!

December Knitting Day

Saturday, December 18th, from 10 until 5 is…..drum roll, please…..Work on a Project with a Deadline Day!!! Who among us isn’t working on a project with a deadline? Join me for an hour or two or the entire day and have a ton of fun while getting closer and closer to finishing! This is a free event; sign-ups are appreciated so we know how many to expect but certainly not required.

Remember to fill out a Wish List card; they are by our checkout. You can leave it at the shop and we’ll give it to your loved ones when they come in to buy you a gift.

Happy knitting,
