These long winter evenings have us tucked into snug corners and knitting up a storm. We’ve been comparing notes about our favorite spot in our homes to knit, our favorite projects to work on, and (perhaps most importantly) what programs we like to watch while stitching.
We wanted to share with you what is on our needles and what is on our screens as we knit away while cold temperatures keep us indoors.
Dawn is currently working on a Churchmouse Yarns & Teas’ Easy Folded Poncho , and has only 8″ to go! This time she is working with a beautiful 80% alpaca 20% cormo blend from Blackwolf Ranch in Montana. Stunning! While working these yards and yards of stockinette, Dawn has been watching the second season of The Fall on Netflix.
You saw Theresa’s current project earlier this week. Up next on her needles are several repeats of projects that she has knit up in the past. We love recreating patterns that work well and Theresa has a small collection of patterns she’d like to knit again, including: a Rikke hat, Cashmere Purle Cowl, and another Colorblock Bias Blanket.
Theresa has been dividing her attention between the Broad Church series and our favorite: Downtown Abbey.
What programs and projects have you been enjoying?
