Who among us doesn’t like a really good deal?

This week's Deal of the Day is a little different.  Instead of just one item being on sale on Wednesday, we are celebrating the season with a storewide sale on Friday and Saturday.

We think that it is a great time to start or perhaps wrap up your holiday shopping.  (Personally, I’m a last minute shopper, but I’ve got family members that start their holiday shopping before Labor Day and have it all wrapped up with a big red bow before the first snow falls.)  For those of you more like me, I start thinking about holiday shopping as the last Tupperware container of leftovers pops into the fridge.

I am not a fan of crowds and so you won’t find me in line at the crazy Black Friday sales. Instead, I like to support my local independently owned shops that stock more unique gift ideas and can provide me with thoughtful suggestions for those folks on my list who are difficult to shop for. 

This week in Fort Collins the local shops are going to be displaying plaid decorations and providing some very special deals and treats in solidarity of our commitment to provide you with a fun, festive, and affordable alternative to battling the Black Friday crowds or the rather lonely Cyber Monday option of shopping online.  We want to help you find the perfect gift; and some of our favorite shops around town are going to be participating in the fun.
