Tiny tunics are all we want to knit!

Our new skeins of Ella Rae Lace Merino have been a treat to knit with.  Julie and Amelia have knit a handful of darling baby dresses and tunics that we wanted to share with you this week.Julie couldn't resist making this darling little dress out of a sunny yellow that has created a dress that lives up to it's name: the Buttercup DressbuttercupThis pattern from schneckenstrick includes sizing from newborn to 2 years old and Julie created hers by holding the yarn double throughout and using a US 4 needle.Amelia has also been knitting up a storm and has created three little outfits that are just as cute. impressHer Impress Dress is a pattern from Anna & Heidi Pickles.  The newborn size is available for FREE.  Other sizes that are designed with a bit more length are available through Ravelry.  Amelia also held her yarn double and used a US 5 needle.Her next little dress has been designed by Signe Strømgaard.  Nova's pattern includes a generous size range from 2 - 10 years.  Amelia used the Lace Merino singly for this little dress and size US 2 and 3 needles. novaLast but not least is the Sunrise Tunic that was also knit with a single strand of Ella Rae Lace Merino. sunriseJulie Gilliver's pattern is also sized from newborn to 2 years.  It features a top down seamless construction with mock cables that add a beautiful bias textured detail that adds a bit of flare to the little tunic. ella raeOur selection of Ella Rae Lace Merino is mouthwatering and the pattern ideas we have for tiny knits are many.  We'd love to get you started on a project that will be the envy of the playground this spring.We are even thinking about adding a tiny knit project class to our class schedule in May!  We'll keep you posted as those details are finalized.We look forward to seeing you soon.
