Our new arrivals have us planning for yours.  We have an exciting new selection of three machine washable yarns that has us thinking about baby knits. Swans Island has added a sport-weight option to their selection of Eco-Washed yarns.  Their Organic Washable Sport is a beautiful yarn that comes in a soft array of shades that would be perfect traditional baby knits.  This luscious certified organic sport weight yarn is treated with gentle natural enzymes to render it washable. It is soft and springy, with excellent stitch definition and a sophisticated baby palette.Each 50 gram skein has 175 yards and is $16.30.  Many of the darling sweaters we’ve found on Ravelry will only need a couple of skeins for the smaller sizes.Next, we have a new worsted weight super wash option for you in a rainbow of shades! This is Rowan Pure Wool Worsted. It is 100% machine washable wool and we have 24 eye-popping colors. Each skein is 219 yards/100 grams at $10.95.We’ve noticed that it seems to be the go-to yarn choice for knitters working on TinCanKnits' Simple Collection, a selection of FREE patterns from one of our favorite designers. But our favorite kiddo knit that we found on Ravelry made with this Pure Wool would have to be this one.If you need a bulkier option for a quicker knit, you might want to consider our new selection of Florafil. Florafil is a premium beautiful soft bulky cotton hand-knitting yarn with the softness of roving and the strength of conventional ring-spun cotton. It contains a blend of 97% cotton and 3% nylon.  The skeins are named for wildflowers, and our selection of four soft pastel shades will make quick work of any last minute baby projects that need to be finished on the double.  Each bulky skein has 125 yards and is $17.75.We are dreaming up a fun selection of baby knits to share with you in May.  Our sample knitters are going to be casting on shortly, and we can't wait to be able to show you how these beautiful new yarns knit up!
