Kristin has done it again

Our dear friend and neighbor Kristin is a very talented and prolific knitter.  We count on her to make stunning samples that are always crowd pleasers.  And this week she finished up a sweater that is sure to be a hit.

This is a new version of Boxy (last year's best selling summer sweater pattern for the shop) designed by Joji Locatelli.  It is a  simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Worked with a lightweight yarn it is very flattering, drapey and stylish!  It looks terrific on every body type.

The pattern includes directions for a seamless and a seamed version so that you have the choice to construct the sweater to your preference.  It calls for a great deal of stockinette stitching which can make it the perfect pattern for a summer road trip or to bring along with you to a baseball game.

Kristin knit hers up with six skeins of Shibui Linen.  That selection has guaranteed that the sweater's fabric is a light as a breeze and just as comfortable to wear.  Which color would you choose?
