Back to school

It is hard to believe that Labor Day is just a few weeks away, marking the end of summer.  With many folks thinking about heading back to school, you may want to take a look at our upcoming class offerings. We have some wonderful new classes (and teachers!) scheduled over the next several months. We hope these offerings will keep you inspired, and perhaps learning some new skills or trying some new techniques.classesWith just 6 students in a class, you will have the intimate learning experience that we find helps our students feel more comfortable and get the help that they need.  Clicking here will get you to our website with all the information.  But here are a few highlights:We have a new teacher whom you are going to love. Lindsay is a new member of the Interweave Staff that just joined us here in Fort Collins.  She has been teaching classes of all kinds for years, and will be kicking off our new schedule with a three session sock class that is going to be perfect for those of you eager to get some help with your first pair of socks.Vic England will be leading a Contiguous Shoulder workshop.  The Contiguous method is a way of knitting the shoulder seams and sleeve caps of a garment from the top down that can be utilized for cardigan or pullover sweaters. It naturally forms a nice shoulder slope without the diagonal seam created using the raglan method.  Her hands-on class will walk you through the basics by casting on for a mini sweater.Amelia and Lindsay will be offering a wide variety of skills clinics which will offer you some terrific new techniques a little bonus!  Signing up for more than one of our new skills clinics (shown in red on our class schedule available in the shop) can offer you some savings. Sign up and pre-pay for 2 classes and get 10% off the class fee. Sign up and pre-pay for three or more, and receive a 20% discount off the class fee.We are continuing to offer our monthly Learn to Knit classes with our dear friend and neighbor Robin.  And Amelia will be leading our monthly Fixing Mistakes class that is a great second step for new knitters.Don’t delay in signing up.  We will be closing our class registration a week before class.  You’ll want to contact us right away to reserve your spot because our small class sizes may fill up quickly.  Give us a call at 970-407-1461 and we can get you registered! We can’t wait to start working with you on new techniques.  Please let us know if you have questions about our classes, or if there is something that we haven’t included that you’d like to learn, or to teach!
