Baah yarns have arrived in the shop

Julie found a terrific new yarn company while she was at tnna last month and our new yarn arrived late last week!  These two have a passion for beautiful color and it shows in their stunning skeins.Julie selected some mouth watering colors of two new fingering weight yarns.This first is a super-washed 100% merino yarn called La Jolla.  Ravelers rave about this yarn giving it 5 out of 5 possible stars, and the more than two thousand pattern suggestions are breathtaking.  Each skein includes 400 yards of yarn and will be more than enough for a beautiful cowl or shawl.We also received Platinum.  This new yarn has a very special blend of 75% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Silk,  and 5% Metallic for a bit of fun shimmer that is hard to resist.Here you can see Kimberly modeling one of the samples that arrived with these beautiful skeins.  This is Reflections, a scarf designed by Mira Cole that can be knit up with two skeins of Platinum.  A FREE copy of this pattern is available to those who purchase the yarn required.Mira also designed Mira's Cowl another FREE pattern that calls for a single skein of the La Jolla featured above.  It is a very popular pattern on Ravelry and one that has been on Kate's "to knit" list for months!  It's classic texture comes from an asymmetric sequence of ribbing that looks beautiful and couldn't be easier to create.We think that you'll enjoy perusing the lovely Baah samples that will be featured in the shop for the next few weeks and we hope that you can visit before they need to be returned to our new and (very talented) friends.
