Another Hudson Bay Blanket for you

One of our most successful shop samples was a crib blanket that Julie created a couple of years ago.  She used the FREE Purl Bee Hudson Bay Inspired Crib Blanket pattern and Anzula's Cricket yarn. © purlsohoJulie maintained the classic color selection suggested by the pattern.  She found that splitting the primary color skeins in half, created stripes of a perfect width that used up every ounce of yarn she had.  There was no need to count rows, making this a very straightforward pattern to follow. This spring we've created another version of this classic blanket using Anzula's For Better or Worsted. This blanket used a total of 8 skeins at $32 each. hudson bayThis deliciously soft and springy superwash wool, cashmere and nylon blend is a perfect choice.  Our generous selection of the vast Anzula color spectrum gives any knitter a fantastic choice of colors to play with.  The tonal play of beautiful blue looks great!  What colors would you select? The garter stitch pattern flies off the needles, and makes this project a perfect one for social knitting, when you may not want to keep track of complicated instructions. We'd like to invite you in to the shop to pick out some fun colors to play with, and get you started.  Taking some time for yourself to enjoy stitching at our project table may be the highlight of your week!
