Another groovy shawl

You read here about Theresa's shawl being featured on Raverly last month.  Well, another Groovy sample has been knit up, and we wanted to share this new version with you too. groovyKimberly created this shawl with Shibui Cima and Silk Cloud held together throughout.   And boy does it POP with gorgeous Shibui brilliance.  I love what a showstopper this shawl is.Cima is spun from the finest baby alpaca and merino fibers. It is a sprightly lace-weight yarn that combines sharp stitch definition with buttery softness. Held single, double, or triple, it creates smooth fabrics with clean lines, perfect for modern garments.Silk Cloud is a deliciously soft blend of 60% kid mohair and 40% silk.  The glowing silk core of this laceweight yarn shines through a halo of translucent mohair, giving anything you make amazing stitch definition and drape. When these two are worked together, you get a finished fabric of buttery soft warmth that has a drape that calls out to be flung over your shoulders. groovy 02As you can see the color options in the Shibui yarn line is generous and we would love to help you pick out the perfect palette for a groovy shawl of your very own!
