A new yarn and a new cowl

The lovely folks at Baa Ram Ewe have created another special yarn.  Following on the heels of their very popular fingering weight Titus, They have highlighted another British wool breed: Masham, in their lustrous dovestone dk."By blending the fleece of the Bluefaced Leicester and Masham, along with the drape of the Wensleydale, we have created something truly special. Soft yet robust and with a lovely woolly bounciness, Dovestone is perfect for jumpers, cardigans, accessories and home items."We received a really cute pattern with this new yarn.  The dobcross cowl (designed by Verity Britton) is knit with one skein each of two colors of their dovestone dk yarn.The pattern is shown in their endeavor (navy) and parkin (orange) colors, which is really pretty in the picture shown.  However, if you cannot look at the combination of these two colors together and get the idea of the Broncos out of your head, then try one of the two combinations we thought might look great!  (Shown on left:  goathland and eccup and shown on right: coal and bantam)We hope that you'll have a chance to visit us soon and see how magical this special blend of wool is.
