Give Your Brain a Break with a Kit!
Have you ever known you wanted to knit…something…but you didn’t want to go through the process of finding a pattern and then the yarn to go with it? You wanted someone to present you with a project ready to start, perhaps even handed to you on a silver platter, just to complete our picture here!
Aha! We have the solution….a kit! A kit is so friendly; it’s there waiting for you to take it home and use it. There is no stress involved, no decisions either! You just pick the one that calls to you and start knitting. Isn’t that a delightful thought?
My Sister Knits has been busy putting some kits together as a treat for your brain…it could probably use a little rest about now. Why? Just because! We make so many decisions in a single day that it’s nice to give our brains a little vacation.
Here is a sampling of what you might find in the shop…and this is just hats, there is also at least one cowl! You’ll have to come into the shop to see it!
Caitlin Hunter’s Cold Hearts Hat. This pattern came out this month and it already has 116 projects posted on Ravelry! Our sample is made with Julie Asselin’s Boucle yarn and Woolfolk Far for a soft, fuzzy hat.
Chubby Butterflies, designed by Joji Locatelli, is also a new design, published in January! It’s important that your ‘butterflies’ are in a high contrast yarn and our kits will have that question solved for you!
Kate Oates’ Fierce Hat features abstract colorwork. This pattern is a little older than the others, published last August. Kate provides several sizing options, along with a beanie style or a slouchy style!
We’re pairing Chubby Butterflies and Fierce with Spincycle yarns. I always love a chance to use Spincycle as part of a project! Watching the colors as you knit is fascinating and leads to problems putting your knitting down!
Come into the shop and choose a kit! For you or as a gift, it’s the perfect project because it’s ready to go!
Reminder
Bring your Scout project, finished or not, to the Scout Show and Tell party Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24th at 3pm!
Happy knitting,
