Julie has discovered a special small company called Thread and Maple! T & M is owned by two women, Samantha Perrault and Olga Paskalenko. Samantha lives in Montreal and Olga lives in Toronto.

Thread and Maple offers us knitting accessories that are elegant enough to have around the house. One of the constants in Samantha’s life is knitting and she had knitting accouterments spread all over her house. She wanted to be able to store them in a beautiful way but couldn’t find anything that met her needs. She and Olga put their heads together, created sketches of product designs, and created the beautiful, ingenious solutions they envisioned.

We are only the second shop in the United States to carry their items! One of the passions at My Sister Knits is to find and carry yarn or accessories that come from small companies involved in the production of their wares. Thread and Maple sources natural materials such as maple wood, cork, leather, and cotton from other small business owners and are definitely hands-on with the creation of these fun items that are pretty enough to leave lying about your home!
We have a shipment coming any day now with a good variety to meet your organizing dreams! We absolutely cannot wait to unpack the box when it arrives! In addition to some larger items, we have an assortment of small necessities that you’re going to want to discover: tapestry needle cases, scissors sheaths, a darling stitch marker case, and others.
