Gifting Season Is Upon Us!
My Sister Knits has something new for you this year! Our idea will make purchasing gifts for you a breeze.
I know that my son and daughter have a hard time figuring out what to get me. Now, this might sound a little self-centered but stay with me! It’s a given that our nearest and dearest would like to buy us presents that we love, the same way we want to buy them gifts that they’ll cherish.
This year we’re introducing our Knitting Wishlist! This is a card that can be kept at the shop or you can take it home and hand-deliver it to whomever you like. There are spaces to write down your needs, your wants, your favorite brands, and your favorite colors.
We encourage you to take advantage of this system to help out your loved ones when they come into the shop with that deer-in-the-headlights look!
Speaking of gifts, we have two displays with ideas for you, either for yourself or for a knitting friend! Of course, the shop is filled with opportunities for gift-buying but the items in our displays are special and fill various needs.

The distinctive, colorful Love It project bags are handmade in Amsterdam. We are one of only four shops in the world to carry them. There are two others in the United States (New Jersey and Delaware) and you can find them in Stephen and Penelope if you happen to be in Amsterdam! They are indeed a unique gift!
We have two different kinds of wool wash: Twig and Horn Wool Soap and Eucalan Wool Wash. Both of them are no-rinse products. You can buy small samples of Eucalan that would be perfect for stockings! How to choose the one you want? Do you like the creaminess and the glass packaging of the Twig and Horn? The scents of Eucalan? It’s up to you!
Wax and Wool candles are out with their seasonal scents! We have four new ones and you get to decide your favorites! Please feel free to take off the lids and sample their scents!
We have pieces from Knitter’s Pride Mindfulness collection, including needle sets and small bags. The design connected with this collection is meant to create positive and peaceful feelings as we create. The colors are those of tranquility and renewal and were chosen especially for that purpose.
If you don’t have a pair of Canadian Thermohair socks you must put them in your ‘need’ space on your card! Then buy everyone in your family a pair! Once you put them on you won’t want to take them off! The loops on the inside are made of 75% kid mohair and 25% nylon. Kid mohair is the softest category of mohair. These socks are cushiony and hug your feet! “Be sure to heed the instructions to air dry them” says the Voice of Experience!
We have a supply of all of our favorite CocoKnits accessories and all of our Muud bags are out. Mudd bags are made in Denmark out of the most luscious soft and buttery leather! We also have snips and small scissors and needle gauges and, and, and more!
